Don Shelby

Senior Advisor for Science Communication & Journalism
Executive Producer, Earth Intelligence podcast

Don Shelby is one of the most respected and decorated journalists in the country.  A veteran of 55 years of investigative reporting, and later used those skills in the field of climate change, science and the environment. He has been awarded three national Emmys, and two George Foster Peabodys (the broadcast equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize in Journalism). Read more about his work here.


David Thoreson

Senior Advisor for Geospatial Exploration

David is a documentary photographer, pioneering sailor and Arctic explorer. He is the only American to have sailed the Northwest Passage in both directions. Read more about his work here.


Tom Armstrong

Board Member & Senior Advisor for Public-Private Partnerships

Tom is the former executive director of the US Global Change Research Program, and an expert in the science of Arctic climate. He is now President of the Madison River Group, LLC.


Julian Boxenbaum

Senior Advisor for Integrated Innovation

Julian is an industrial designer, as well as Co-Founder and Executive Producer of LucidNYC, NYC Program Coordinator for Carnegie Mellon’s Integrated Innovation Institute, and a Principal of BUZstudios LLC.


Jessica Wolff

Senior Advisor for Generative Design

Jessica is a Harvard-trained landscape designer at Offshoots, Inc. She teaches studio courses at the Boston Architectural College involving cross-disciplinary design and construction and is a member of the City of Malden Planning Board. Read more about her work here.


The Geoversiv Foundation’s core team are working to develop and advance programs that meet the planetary design challenge of mapping out a critical path to planet-wide sustainable inclusive prosperity. The aim is to leverage climate, energy and business innovation, along with strategies for locally rooted education, peacebuilding and always-active civics, to motivate the achievement of each step along that critical path.
